Directions to Rutherford

Directions to the Rutherford County Health Department from Charlotte

Take I-85 South to US-74. Stay on US-74. You will travel through Shelby and then enter Rutherford County. Take Exit 181 (Forest City/Spindale). You will be traveling on Alt. 74.

First stop light KFC will be on your left.

Second stop light on your left will be the BB&T bank.

Third stop light on your left will be Burger King and McDonalds.

Fourth stop light on your left will be Super Wal Mart.

Fifth stop light Sonic will be on your left and e left and Chili’s on your right.

Sixth stop light on your left will be McCurry Deck car dealership.

Seventh stop light on your right Tractor Supply and Big Lots.

Eighth stop light you will turn right by Denny’s Restaurant. There is an access road that you will turn immediately to your left. You will be traveling on the outside of the parking lot of an old K-Mart building. Continue past the car dealerships to the stop sign.

At the stop sign you will be at the intersection of Withrow Road and Callahan-Koon Road. Continue straight across the intersection.

You should see the EMS building on your right.

Our building is on the right-hand side and it is the 5th building on this road. We are the next building after the Library. The first door to the facility is the Clinic entrance. The second door into the facility is for Home Health Staff Only. The third door entrance is marked Administration and Environmental Health. It is the 3rd door to the far right of the building.
