Directions to the McDowell County Health Department from Morganton

From Interstate 40 you will use exit 85. On the off ramp, you will turn right. (You will now be on Highway 221 North to Marion). Follow the road until you come to a stop light. At the stop light you will turn left (you will still be on 221 North). Follow the large blue signs for the hospital "H". Use the exit marked "Henderson Street / Marion". On the off ramp, yo uwill turn left onto West Henderson Street. At the third stop light, you will turn right onto Rankin Drive (look for the YMCA on your right). The next right will be Spaulding Road. You will need to follow this road for a little bit and the driveway for the Health Department will be the first driveway on your right.
