What is an Epidemiology Team?
The EPI Team is a proven method of conducting outbreak
investigations regardless of whether they are foodborne,
environmental or substance in nature. Investigation
of a locally reported illness may actual lead to
regional, statewide or national involvement.
Our EPI Team consists of District members who are best
skilled in working together toward problem solving. The
efforts of a EPI Team lead to good decision-making which
determine which actions provide the best control measures.
Out team meets every month to analyze and discuss current
activities, review past investigations and prepare for future
activities.
